Seems like whenever one receives challenges from the universe, they are said to come in three's which I am currently experiencing.
About a month and a half ago my oldest (15 year old) cat was diagnosed with cancer and kidney disease. A friend suggested I try essiac tea for the cancer which took me on a search online where I found a veterinary naturepath in Canada (Pet Wellbeing) doing supplements for many animal diseases and maladies, I ordered one for kidneys and one for cancer that is basically the recipe for essiac tea and a couple more herbs. I also got several more medications from our vet for the kidney disease. He is currently on Cyproheptadine, Methimazol, Benazipril, potassium, Cisipride, Lactulose, Restore 4 life, CBD oil, and Pepcid AC, plus he gets 50-60 ml of fluids daily. After having been on this regime for almost a month he seems to be doing better he is eating, grooming, playing and actually caught and ate a mouse yesterday!
Last week our 7 1/2 year old Aussie Mix Dog, was diagnosed as needing a hip replacement and possibly two,
apparently the best place to go for the surgery is Sun Valley the surgeon there does 75-80 of these procedures a year. Luckily for us it's only a 4 1/2 hr. drive. The tough part about this is our dog Zephyr is kind of a crazy guy and even though he is almost 8 still acts like 1 1/2 years old, we will need to keep him calm with only short leash walk for 2 months, this will be challenging for sure, not to mention the possiblity of a repeat sometime next year for the other hip. He still runs like the dog in the picture below, just seems sore sometimes but if he will pain free we will deal with this.

Finally the third I have had a chronic cough for about 20 years or so and have off and on gone to different doctors to see if they can ferret out the cause. On this go round I have done a bunch of exams and varying tests and just found out I have sleep apnea. Of the three medical issues in our house this will be the easiest to deal with excepting now I get to ressemble Darth Vader when I go to sleep each night. I am familiar with this as my husband has sleep apnea and has for sometime. Hopefully this will be the end of my cough, hopefully!
